How to List an Obituary in Virginia

Losing someone you love is one of the most difficult and heartbreaking experiences a person may have to struggle with in life. The emotional trauma can be just as severe for close friends.

A common practice in society to help ensure people are aware of the loss is to post an obituary. This is usually a published document in a newspaper or publication recalling the life of a person who recently passed away. It may or may not include a photo of the person, major accomplishments in their life, and who they are survived by.
