One of the most-heartbreaking cases we handled involved a young mother on Virginia’s Eastern Shore whose infant son died in a car crash caused by another driver. We acted quickly to obtain testimony from the state trooper who responded to the accident scene, and we conducted our own analyses of evidence. These efforts allowed us to secure large confidential settlements from the at-fault driver’s insurance company to cover the mother’s injuries and to compensate her for the tragic, preventable death of her young child.
