My colleague posted an article about the disturbingly high number of medication mistakes which lead to 1.5 million deaths and serious injuries. With all of the talk surrounding health care reform, legislators barely broached the topic of medication reform and improved oversight. This is an area where we could save a lot of money and save a lot of lives.
