Accident in Harrisonburg Leads to Serious Injuries | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

What Happened:

The driver of a Trailblazer reportedly hit a CRV as they were trying to make a left hand turn at the intersection of Cantrell Avenue and Paul Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia (VA). As a result, three people were taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital by ambulance due to injuries. The injuries were considered to be serious.

Two victims were airlifted to University of Virginia Medical Center and remained there in stable condition.

According to Breeze JMU, an accident reconstruction team is still working to determine the cause of the accident.

The Virginia Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

The victims who suffered injuries – especially serious injuries – should speak with a Virginia personal injury lawyer to discuss their legal options. Though the exact cause of the wreck remains unknown (as of the date of this posting), it appears as though the driver of the Trailblazer failed to properly yield to the oncoming CRV. If it turns out that the driver of the Trailblazer was negligent, the victims may have grounds to seek restitution for their damages.
