Alexander County Car Wreck Leads to Injuries, Loss of Life | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Two people lost their lives and two people were seriously injured in a car crash on Millersville Road in Alexander County, North Carolina (NC). The driver of a Subaru staton wagon reportedly crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and hit an SUV. The wreck was so bad that firefighters had to cut the roof off the station wagon to get the driver out, according to wsoctv.com.

NC state troopers are still trying to find out what caused the at-fault driver to cross into oncoming traffic. Was he distracted in some way? Was there a mechanical issue? We will have to wait and see what the police investigation reveals.

My heart goes out to the innocent victims in this accident. It is an example of how devastating a head-on car crash can be.

If it turns out the driver was negligent or reckless in causing this wreck, the victims, or family represenatives of those who were killed in the crash, should consult with a North Carolina injury attorney. Compensation can be pursued that will help cover medical expenses, lost wages, and the pain and suffering associated with this tragic accident.
