Ashburn, VA Accident Leads to Injuries, Loss of Life | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A mother was seriously injured and her 8-year-old son was killed when they were hit by a car on Farmwell Road in Ashburn, Virginia (VA).

Reports indicate a sedan was heading west on Farmwell when it hit the mother, Eman Thabet, and her son. They were reportedly crossing the street near Ashburn Village Boulevard, according to nbcwashington.com.

The boy was transported to Inova Loudoun Hospital, where he was pronounced dead and his mother was airlifted to Fairfax Trauma Center. The extent of the mother’s injuries remain unknown at this time, but we do know she is in stable condition.
