Asheville, NC Man Dies in Fairview Wreck | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A 32-year-old man died from his injuries after being involved in a three-vehicle wreck in Fairview, North Carolina (NC). The victim’s 1-year-old son was also in the car and suffered injuries. The young boy was taken to Mission Hospital for observation after the accident, but no updates have been given on his health status.

According to the Citizen-Times, the accident occurred when a Nissan Sentra took a left-hand turn onto the U.S. 74 from Old Fort Road. A pickup truck hit the car, then veered in the direction of the victim’s car.

Police have not filed any charges and have hinted that the limited line of sight played a major role in causing the accident. No definitive answers will be available, however, until an accident reconstruction team completes its investigation.
