Attorney Examines Bay Shore Railroad | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

My colleague Rick Shapiro explored the history of the Bay Shore railroad and some of the recent safety concerns about the long-running rail line in his recent article on our Eastern Shore Blog. For example, the company was forced by public attention brought from the Virginian-Pilot to repair one of its rail crossings in Norfolk because bed planks and crossties had become so worn and damaged that they threatened pedestrians’ safety and could cause derailments.
