North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyer Perspective:

We are relieved that there were no severe injuries in this accident. It is worth noting, however, that more than 3,000 drivers died in 2010 due to distracted driving, according to US government statistics. This accident is a good reminder to us all: Pay close attention to driving when we are behind the wheel, and do not ever be distracted from the road.

Both drivers should consider speaking to a personal injury attorney in North Carolina. There is a possibility that  a civil personal injury suit could be filed to cover expenses for injuries, pain and suffering, and medical costs.
