Charleston, WV Hit-and-Run Accident Leads to Serious Injury | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Shaminique Prosper was crossing the street at the corner of Washington and Rebecca streets in Charleston, West Virginia (WV), when she was hit by a car. Prosper was knocked to the ground and run over by the tire of the car, according to WSAZ.com.

The at-fault driver stopped, got out of the vehicle, but then reportedly panicked and decided to bolt from the scene of the accident. Fortunately, the police apprehended the suspected hit-and-run driver and he is currently facing charges for failing to render aid and driving on a revoked license.
