Chase in Morganton, NC Ends With Wreck, Multiple Injuries | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A police chase in Morganton, North Carolina (NC), ended with several people injured and multiple vehicles wrecked on South Sterling Street close to the I-40 ramp. According to the News Herald, the driver of a blue Chevrolet rammed a police car, which went off to the side of the road and into a ditch. The Chevy driver next crashed into a white Chevrolet, which spun around and was hit a second time.

One officer and the driver of the white Chevrolet as well as a child in that car were taken to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the blue Chevrolet was taken to jail, where he will face myriad traffic violation charges, including reckless driving and fleeing.
