Crash on Route 107 Results in Serious Injury

A car accident on Route 107 in Marion, Virginia (VA) left one person critically injured and another person suffering with injuries.

AToyota4-Runner was passing a vehicle in a no-passing zone when it crashed into a Ford pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was first taken toJohnston Memorial Hospital. When it was discovered she had life threatening injuries, she was then transported toJohnson City Medical Center.

SWVA Today reported that the passenger in the pickup truck is suffering from injuries while the at-fault driver of theToyota 4-Runner was not injured at all. The accident is still being investigated and charges are pending against the driver of the 4-Runner.
