It's frustrating reading about these types of accidents. Not only was the at-fault driver breaking the law by evading the police, but the at-fault driver injured innocent drivers in the process.

The innocent victims of the accident should contact a personal injury lawyer in North Carolina to discuss their legal options even though there is a risk that the at-fault driver does not have adequate insurance coverage to properly compensate them. If the person is uninsured or underinsured, the victims could still be able to obtain compensation through provisions of their own policies. To learn more about so-called UIM/UM coverage, take a moment to read this report.
