What Happened:

A 19-year-old driver from Kernersville, North Carolina (NC) operating a 1993 Honda was injured when the driver of a 2002 Honda lost control, veered back onto the roadway crossing the center line and hit the victim’s 1993 Honda. The wreck occurred on Mountain Street near Doe Run Road.

The victim had to be taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to be treated for injuries, according to myfox8.com.

Police continue to investigate to determine what exactly caused the driver of the 2002 Honda to suddenly lose control of the vehicle.

The North Carolina Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

The injured victim should consider speaking to a North Carolina personal injury lawyer to discuss their legal options. They may have grounds to seek restitution from the at-fault driver’s insurance policy to recover for medical expenses, any lost wages, and pain and suffering related to this awful accident. If the driver did not have insurance, or inadequate insurance, then the injured victim may need to file a claim with their own policy under the uninsured motorist/underinsured motorist coverage of their policy.
