Drunk and Drugged Driver Crashes Into Virginia Beach Police Officer | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A Virginia Beach, VA, police officer was the victim of a drunk driving accident instead of the first responder. A car struck the officer’s cruiser on Virginia Beach Blvd near the Colony Trailer Park early in the morning of June 25, 2012. The sideswipe collision caused the police car to smash into a telephone pole so violently that the pole snapped in half.

The at-fault driver was identified by Johnathan R. Fullington, and he has been charged with driving under the influence, as well as with drug possession.
