Locals say this is a dangerous intersection, prone to many accidents. Many drivers don’t realize a stop sign is just up ahead and fly past it without braking. Local civic leaders should further investigate to determine if warning signs need to be installed.

Unlike red lights, stop signs can be easy to miss, particularly at night on dark country roads. It is also more difficult for police to monitor stop signs and prevent drivers from running them. As a driver, the best thing you can do to prevent others from crashing into you is to be extremely cautious at intersections that involve stop signs.
