Five Injured in Winterville, NC Wreck | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Not surprisingly, red light runners are some of the most dangerous drivers on the road. These impatient drivers are particularly prone to causing T-bone accidents.

Police in Winterville, North Carolina (NC), are investigating a June 9, 2012, accident in which a pickup truck was heading south on Memorial Drive towards Kinston passed through the intersection with Firetower Road and T-boned a car. Two passengers in the truck and three in the car were taken to local hospitals with injuries.

No one was immediately charged in relation to the accident, so we’ll have to wait for the accident report to get a better sense of why this crash happened. But as North Carolina personal injury attorneys, we have seen many crashes like this. Too often, an impatient driver throws caution to the wind and runs a red light or stop sign.

Even though charges are still pending, the injured parties should consider speaking with a car accident attorney in North Carolina. Discussing one’s legal options with an expert is the best way to fully prepare oneself for whatever the future might hold.
