Four Teenagers Injured in Forest City, NC Crash | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Four young people sustained serious injuries in an accident in Forest City, North Carolina (NC), when a pickup truck rear-ended an Oldsmobile sedan on East Main Street. The at-fault 19-year-old pickup driver and the three occupants of the car were taken to hospitals. Authorities are still investigating the crash.

The crash occurred at the intersection of East Main Street and Riverside Drive in Forest City, NC.

Because the pickup driver was a teenager, one wonders whether he might have been texting and driving while behind the wheel. So many teens believe they can multitask successfully, but studies indicate that texting while driving is just as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We’ll have to wait for the full accident report to see how and why this tragic crash occurred.
