FRA and NTSB Cite Fatigue as Contributing to Railroad Accidents | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

My colleague wrote about the growing problem of fatigue and human error in railroad accidents. According to a study by the FRA, 40 percent of rail wrecks are due to human mistakes and 1 in 4 of these incidents are due to fatigue. The NTSB has recommended technology and fatigue management systems to help combat this issue.
