Norfolk, VA Personal Injury Attorney Reports: Hampton Truck-Van Wreck Leads to Loss of Life | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

When vehicles collide head-on, the damage is usually severe and the injuries can be extensive. Unfortunately, a recent car crash in Hampton, Virginia (VA), illustrates this fact.

A Dodge Caravan was traveling east on West Pembroke Avenue and a Chevy S10 was traveling in the opposite direction when the two vehicles slammed into each other, according to the Daily Press. A Ford Taurus was also hit during the wreck.

Three people — two women who were in the Caravan and one man who was in the S10 — were taken to the hospital with injuries. One of the women, Betty Fay Labaire of Hampton, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. She was only 55 years old.

Our deepest sympathies go out to her friends and family. This accident illustrates the fragility of life. In the blink of an eye, Labaire lost her life.

The exact details of this Hampton car accident remain unknown. Police continue to investigate so more details are likely to surface when the accident report is revealed.
