Haymarket, VA Car Crash Leaves Two Teens Dead | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Two teenage girls in a 2005 Dodge Magnum were killed in a car wreck on a Haymarket, Virginia (VA), road in April 2011, according to the Washington Post and wusa9.com.

One teen, age 15, died at the scene. She was a freshman at Battlefield High School. Her death changed the worlds of her classmates. One classmate mentioned she was like a sister and cried. Some classmates said gym class would never be the same without her. One classmate mentioned she was naturally happy, quick to joke, did not follow a crowd, and nice to everyone.

The car crash happened during a spring break, on a Wednesday night around midnight.  The vehicle, carrying five teens, hit a deer and then a tree.

The driver and three passengers were flown to a hospital with serious injuries. One passenger died a few days after the accident. A passenger killed in a car wreck can recover from a speeding driver’s insurance.

The families of the accident victims must be in shock. They might have to file a wrongful death case with the assistance of Virginia personal injury attorneys against the responsible parties to get justice for their losses. This Virginia car wreck illustrated the serious injuries and death that occur when someone speeds.
