A head-on collision between a motorcycle and an SUV near the intersection of Godwin Boulevard and Everts Road in the Chuckatuck section of Suffolk, Virginia (VA), left the bike rider dead. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of July 26, 2014.Godwin Boulevard is a two-lane rural highway that is divided by only a double yellow line in the block where the wreck took place.
Police could not immediately determine what caused the deadly crash. The driver and passenger in the larger vehicle did not suffer injuries, but the motorcyclist died after being transported to Norfolk General Hospital.
