Head-On Collision Leaves One Dead, One Charged With Drunk Driving | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to get behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Too often, that decision results in the serious injury or death of an innocent victim.

A prime example of this is a head-on collision at the intersection of Pole Green Road and Lee Davis Road in Hanover County, Virginia (VA). One person is dead and six others got injured, including children ranging in age from 2 to 7 years old. The driver of a 1999 Saab has been charged with DUI. The deceased was a passenger in his car.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the deceased, and we hope that all who were injured recover completely.

It truly sickens us to hear about accidents like this. No amount of money can adequately compensate for the loss of a life. As Virginia wrongful death lawyers, however, it is our duty to ensure that those left behind are able to receive some monetary reimbursement to help with final expenses, any outstanding medical expenses, loss of income and even for emotional suffering.

Also, our firm is prepared to assist anyone injured in such a senseless crash with obtaining adequate compensation
