According to Virginia (VA) Fire News, on the evening of Wednesday, January 19th, 2011, a head-on collision took place at the intersection of RT.15 (Farmville Hwy) and Abilene Rd, in Hampden-Sydney.
Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched the accident, which involved a crash between a Dodge Intrepid and a Ford F-150 that was towing a Ford Expedition. Three victims were transported to Southside Regional Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Our thoughts are with the victims at this time as we wish them a speedy recovery. We also hope that police launch an investigation into the cause of the crash.
