High-speed accident injures three in Charlotte | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

What happened:

Speed was a contributing factor in a crash that occurred in Charlotte, NC.  The crash happened on Interstate 485 after one car was hit from behind by another car that was traveling approximately 100 miles per hour.  The collision pushed the front car into the median, causing it to overturn.  The driver of the second car and two passengers from the front car were taken to the hospital.  Authorities said they will also be checking the driver who was speeding for alcohol.
