The at-fault driver did not stop at the scene of the crash, but he was found and arrested roughly half a mile down the road. Police have charged the at-fault driver with DWI, careless and reckless driving, and felony hit-and-run, according to myfox8.com.

It is so frustrating to read about accidents involving careless drivers who not only cause serious harm to innocent victims, but also have the temerity to bolt from the scene of the wreck to try and avoid punishment. The at-fault driver in the Guilford County accident left the victims to fend for themselves without any care as to their condition. It is a prime example of callous behavior.
