We all know that doctors do their best to provide the best care in most circumstances. Still, medical malpractice is quite common. In our personal injury law firm, we have worked on many medical malpractice cases in recent years.

Each year, about 225,000 people die due to medical mistakes. And 90% of medical malpractice trials involve patients who died or suffered serious injury.

It also should be noted that only 5% of doctors in the US are responsible for a whopping 54% of all medical malpractice suits.

If you are considering any type of surgery, you really should take the time to read up on the reputation of your surgeon. See if he or she has any medical malpractice lawsuits in their past. It could save you a lot of pain and money.
