Man Wanted in West Virginia Hit-and-Run Accident Finally Captured | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A man who was on the run after a Wayne County, West Virginia (WV), wreck that seriously injured three people has been arrested. According to WYMT. The 27-year-old suspect was found hiding in a closet in a Huntington Avenue apartment after police spent several days searching for him.

Further investigations revealed that the suspect was wanted not only for the car accident, but also for running out of a courtroom in August of 2011. His reason for leaving the scene of the car crash was that he did not wat to be arrested on his outstanding felony warrants. He also misled authorities by giving a false name and social security number.
