Norfolk Southern Train Rolls Over, Kills Conductor | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In his latest post to our firm’s Railroad Accident/FELA Lawyers Blog, my colleague Randy Appleton calls attention to a recent accident in which a conductor for Norfolk Southern died after getting run over by one of the company’s trains while he was helping switch the train from one track to another. Randy further notes 16 U.S. rail workers died in on-the-job accidents during 2009 and that freight railroad companies such as NS, CSX and BNSF must make keeping their employees safe their to priority.
