Northampton County, VA Truck Crash Results in Death of Driver | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A man, age 49, was killed in a truck crash on U.S. 13 in Northampton County, Virginia (VA) according to The Virginian-Pilot.

According to VA State Police and the VA Department of Transportation, the truck crash happened around 1 am on a Thursday near Simpkins Drive. The tractor-trailer ran off the road, the driver overcorrected, and the rig overturned.

The man was wearing a seat belt, but nevertheless, he lost his life as a result of the wreck. The exact details of what caused the truck crash remained under investigation so it was not known whether it was the fault of the driver, weather, road conditions, or truck maintenance.
