One Dead, Two Injured in Head-On Crash in NC | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

An accident on NC 133 south of Leland, North Carolina (NC), killed one woman and sent another woman and her sone to a local hospital with injuries. Te wreck occurred when a driver trying to pass another crossed the center line and hit a oncoming vehicle head-on. The collision sent both cars to the sides of the road.

Sheila Crocker Sorrentino was killed in the wreck. Anna Pierce and her chid suffered serious injuries. An investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.
