One Dead, Two Injured in Head-On Crash in NC

Comments (0)

What Happened:

An accident occurred on NC 133 south of Leland when a driver tried to pass another car when he hit a vehicle head on, sending both cars to the sides of the road. One woman was killed in the wreck, while another woman and her son were taken to a local hospital to treat injuries. Charges are pending, as the investigation is still ongoing.

The North Carolina Injury Lawyer's Perspective:

Passing and smashing head on into another vehicle means, without a doubt, that someone wasn't paying full attention. Impatient drivers are dangerous drivers, and this type of wreck proves it. The injured victims and the family of the deceased victim should contact a North Carolina car accident attorney to explore their options. We understand how devastating accidents like this one can be. For example, attorneys with our firm handled a case in which a car was hit by a truck on I-264 in Norfolk, VA, and a young man lost his life when the car burst into flames. We were able to secure a $3.5 million settlement for the victim’s only surviving beneficiary, his 5-year-old daughter.
