The North Carolina Injury Lawyers Perspective:

This is a horribly tragic accident.  Our sympathy goes out to the family of the deceased and we hope that those who were injured make a full recovery.  As experienced North Carolina lawyers who handle personal injury and wrongful death cases every day, we cannot express how much it frustrates us to hear that the lives of so many people were irrevocably changed due to the absolute negligence and disregard of one person.  To willingly get behind the wheel of a vehicle when you are impaired by drugs or alcohol is such a horribly selfish and negligent choice for someone to make.
