A man is facing drunk driving and involuntary manslaughter charges after hitting a parked school bus in Virginia Beach, VA, very early in the morning of Nov. 17, 2012. The passenger in the man's car suffered traumatic brain injuries and died at the scene of the crash near the intersection of Northwood Drive and Stoneshore Road.
The driver being blamed for the accident also suffered injuries, and the bus was unoccupied.
The Virginia Wrongful Death Lawyers' Perspective
Car passengers' lives are literally in the hands of the people driving. Anytime a person behind the wheel is impaired by drugs or alcohol, the risks to the health and safety of everyone else in the vehicle increase significantly. Sadly, that danger became a deadly reality for one man in Virginia Beach.
As wrongful death attorneys who have our main offices in the Resort City, we send our condolences to the friends and family members of the deceased man.
