Passenger Killed in Drunk Driving Crash in Chalotte, NC | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A drunk driving accident on Bellhaven Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC), left an SUV passenger dead and several others in the vehicle badly injured. According to WCCB-V Fox Charlotte, the driver of a 2000 Ford Expedition sideswiped another vehicle before going off the road, becoming airborne and colliding with a brick wall.

The driver and four other passengers were transported to a hospital with injuries following te crash, and the driver is being charged with DWI and could faces a felony death by vehicle charge. Speed, as well as alcohol use, is suspected to have been a factor in causing the accident.
