The HRTproducts raised blood estrogen level during and after menopause, which relieved vaginal dryness, night sweats, hot flashes and bone breaks. At the same time, a study conducted as part of the Women’s Health Initiative revealed that long-term use of HRT raised women’s risks for breast cancer, heart attacks, blood clots, stroke and cardiovascular disease.
