In Williamsburg, New York (NY) an expectant couple on the way to the hospital to have their first child was killed while riding in a cab. A BMW struck the side of the cab smashing it into a guard rail. The driver and the passenger of the BMW fled on foot from the scene of the accident leaving the pregnant woman dying on the street. Sadly both parents died but doctors were able to rescue the baby with an emergency c-section. The cab driver was also injured but expected to recover.
