The accident involved three vehicles and happened in the 3100 block of West Brookshire Freeway. Two people were seriously injured in the wreck and emergency responders say one is suffering from critical, life-threatening injuries.
Brookshire Boulevard was also the site of another tragic accident only a week ago. In that accident, a man was charged with DWI after he crashed into several vehicles, including a GMC SUV, killing an innocent 66-year-old. That accident took place at around 8 p.m. and happened only a few blocks away from the one yesterday, occurring in the 3600 block of Brookshire Freeway.
The North Carolina Injury Attorney’s Perspective:
Having two tragic accidents take place on the same stretch of road is a terrible coincidence and may be an indication that the road is a notoriously dangerous stretch prone to such crashes. Our hearts go out to the family of the driver suffering the life-threatening injuries. Hopefully everyone makes a speedy recovery and is reunited with their families in short order.
