Single-Car Crash Injures Five in Charlotte, North Carolina | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

On March 4, 2012, a car carrying five people ran off I-485 near the Brookshire Boulevard exit in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC), injuring all. The car hit a guardrail and metal pole before rolling over, and a 10-year-old passenger who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected from the vehicle. One of the injurd people had to be transported to a hosital by helicopter.

According to WCNC, the North Carolina Highway Patrol suspects the drivier was under the influence of an impairing substance other than alcohol. All five victims are expected to survive.
