Skull Fracture for Baby in Day Care Prompts Felony Charges | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In his latest post to our firm’s Virginia Brain/Head Injury Lawyers blog, my colleague John C. reports on a criminal case in Newport News, Virginia (VA), in which the operator of a home-based day care is facing felony charges of child neglect for either causing or allowing skull fractures to an 8-month-old infant she was babysitting. John notes that very young children are the group most at risk for suffering severe head injuries or traumatic brain injuries from falls and assaults (abuse).
