Our most heartfelt sympathies are extended to the loved ones and family members of the victim in this accident. While it’s not clear what caused the driver to operate his motor vehicle so erratically—was he drinking and driving? Just a negligent motorist?—we know that he had no right to drive as he did, and that he could have avoided driving so recklessly and thus ending the life of the victim.

If, like the family members of the victim of this terrible accident, you have suffered the devastating loss of a loved one, our condolences are with you; we know how hard the process is to go through. While no amount of compensation can replace the loss of a loved one, you might consider speaking to a personal injury lawyer about filing a wrongful death claim. The redress one can receive from such a claim will not make the pain go away, but it can help defray some of the costs of such a tragedy.
