Truck-Train Collision in Arkansas Leaves UP Conductor Injured | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In his latest post to our firm’s Railroad Accident/FELA Lawyers Blog, my colleague Randy Appleton reports on a grade crossing collision between a Union Pacific freight train and a tractor-trailer near Paragould, Arkansas (AR), that left a conductor on the train with injuries. Randy notes that while media reports are focusing on how the semi’s driver escaped injury, the real story is that rail employees face significant risks when taking their trains through crossing that lack lights and gates.
