Two Airlifted to Hospital After Accident on Route 460 in Bluefield, VA | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

According to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph, two people had to be airlifted to hospitals with serious injuries following a two-car crash on Route 460 between Bluefield and Springville in Tazewell County, Virginia (VA). Two others were also injured when a Mitsubishi Eclipse attempted to make a left-had turn in front of a Ford Taurus. The impact caused the Ford Taurus to run into the parking lot of a Quick Stop and strike a light pole.

A passenger in the Eclipse had to be airlifted from the scene and a passenger from the Taurus was flown from Bluefield Regional Medical Center to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
