An accident involving a tractor trailer and a pickup truck on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) has left two people dead and three more injured.
North Carolina (NC) Trooper C.B. Ferrell said the tractor-trailer was parked on the side of the road Monday afternoon. Ferrell said a witness said the pickup, which had five men aboard, veered under the truck, Fox 8 reported.
As well as the two people in the pickup who died, Mecklenburg County’s paramedic service, said the other three people in the pickup were injured were transported to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near where Interstate 485 meets Interstate 85 near Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
