The North Carolina Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

It is an unimaginable tragedy when someone is killed due to the absolute negligence of someone else.  There can be no denying that the driver of the car was negligent the moment she attempted to drive the wrong way on Interstate 40.  It is not known what caused the drive to make that horrible decision, but it is quite possible that alcohol was a factor in this crash.  The fact that the driver of the car did not survive this crash is an issue that the family of the deceased victim and the injured driver of the truck can discuss with an attorney as they would be entitled to receive compensation.
