VA Truck Wreck Results in Passenger Death

A woman, age 23, died after a pickup truck overturned in the 400 block of Glen Haven Drive in Suffolk, Virginia (VA), according to The Virginian-Pilot. The driver was heading west on Glen Haven about 1:40 am on a Sunday.

Reports indicate the driver of a Chevrolet truck was coming out of a curve when the driver lost control, and hit a culvert at the end of a ditch.  The truck flipped over twice, resting upside down.  The passenger, thrown from the truck, died after she was taken to a hospital.  The driver was also reported injured.

The exact details of what caused the driver to lose control remained under investigation.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the young passenger who died in this Virginia (VA) truck wreck. It is troubling to think that, in the blink of an eye, a loved one's life was gone forever. This VA truck crash illustrates the damage that can occur in a truck accident.
