Virginia Beach, VA Student Killed in Car Wreck | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A Virginia Beach, Virginia resident, age 19, died suddenly following a car accident in Elizabeth City, NC, according to WAVY.com and her obituary.

When turning onto Peartree Road from Pitts Chapel Road, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, a pickup truck struck the woman in the driver’s side door. The 19-year-old passed away on May 9, 2011, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.She was a student at Tidewater Community College and worked at TJ Maxx at Red Mill Shopping Center. She graduated from Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 2010.

The car accident remained under investigation. The woman is survived by her parents, brother, sister, maternal grandmother, and paternal grandmother. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends loved her dearly.
