Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the victim who was just doing a good deed. Even though speed and alcohol do not appear to have caused this tragic car accident, the driver can still be held liable for causing a wrongful death. While money will not bring a loved one back, the family may be eligible for damages based on lost wages, medical bills, and emotional distress, among others. Contacting a Virginia car accident attorney will help them determine their proper course of action.
