Waynesboro Man Dies in Crimora, VA Car-Truck Crash

A 47-year-old man was killed in a car-truck accident that occurred on East Side Highway in Crimora, Virginia (VA).

The deadly crash occurred when the victim’s car collided with a pickup truck that suddenly attempted to make a turn off the highway. A passenger in the truck was also injured, but the at-fault pickup driver and another passenger appeared to be unscathed, according to the Staunton News Leader.

Police suspect speed may have been a factor in the accident and charges are currently pending against the pick-up truck driver, although it is unclear at this time what the charges are.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the victim’s family. It is never easy losing a loved one, but the pain is made even worse when the loved one is taken in an accident that appears could have been prevented if another party was not careless in their actions.

The victim’s family should consider speaking with a personal injury attorney to discuss any legal action that they may be able to pursue. With the pending charges against the pickup truck driver, the family may be able to pursue damages for negligence against the driver.
