A female teen was partially ejected from the pickup through the back window and was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center. The other passenger was also transported to that hospital, but no other information was reported. It appears that the garbage truck driver was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation, and it is possible that citations will be given. If the trash truck driver caused the accident, all three people in the pickup truck may be able to file claims against the driver and Waste Management, the company that employed him. In that event, they should contact a West Virginia personal injury attorney to determine whether they have cases.

If the pickup truck driver is found to be at fault, it is still imperative for the injured passengers contact a West Virginia attorney, even if the driver is a friend or relative. Read why someone should still file a claim even if an acquaintance was driving.
