A West Virginia couple is suing Harley-Davidson after they sustained injuries from a reportedly defective motorcycle. According to the couple, they were riding on their motorcycle when they began to notice a rattling sound coming from the bike; upon pulling into a parking lot in order to attempt repairs, they were forced to use the bike’s emergency kill switch and attempt to brake the motorcycle to a stop, at which point the bike tipped over, injuring both of them. The two subsequently claimed to find a number of dangerous defects in the motorcycle; they are suing Harley-Davidson for compensatory and punitive damages.
